My sound off for President Obama

"I love the folks who helped get us in this mess and then suddenly say, 'Well, this is Obama's economy,'" the president told an outdoor crowd at Macomb Community College, veering off his scripted words. "That's fine. Give it to me. My job is to solve problems, not to stand on the sidelines and harp and gripe."

This is a quote from President Obama on his plans to dedicate 12Million dollars to community colleges to prepare the unemployed for a new job market. I happen to agree with President Obama that with many jobs going "green" and that field being wide open, we will need people trained to do it. I am sick of the naysayers blaming him for the economy and the mess the former Bush Administration got us into. And yes, yes, yes, Clinton did leave us with a surplus!! America has always had debt and been in a deficent. What else is new. I am very proud of President Obama for taking on the challenge of the economy and not cower like Bush did.

One more thing...I am sick of the Media referring to the President as Mr. He has earned his title and should be respected by the use of his title. No one dared call Bush "Mr. Bush", he was always "President Bush". Now I hear Obama referred to "Mr. Obama" more than "President Obama". That sickens me. It reminds me of those same Media who referred to the victims of Katrina as "refugees". So let me say it America: It is Mr. President or President Obama. Mr. Obama ran for president and won. From now on his title is President even when he leaves office. Thats my sound off for today.
