ALL Have Sinned

We Have All Fallen Short...lets read scripture!

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

For all have sinned, and do need the glory of God.

Don't that say a mouth full..this is two interpretations of Romans 3:23. It is the first time I saw the second version but it speaks loud and clear to me.

I was reading about a few "tv" preachers who have recently fallen from grace (at least fallen in man's eye) and the naysayers have had a field day speaking on it. I found very little from the christian community, perhaps we are afraid of what we are thinking and feeling. So I thought I would blog it on my own blog spot and give a voice to a layman's point of view.

The Word of God is true and is infallible. That is the bottom line weather you believe or not. Non-belief has not changed the Word of God yet and it will not. Neither does changing its interpretation. So we know it is true that we all have failed and fallen short of His glory. We know because we know our own secrets and failings and most of the time we are glad that no one else knows but God and yourself. Amen? Amen. So then when we see someone fail, why are we so quick to condemn and sent a soul off to hell when God Himself didn't do that to us?

I am not going to address any one rumor or event on any preacher nor person because it is not necessary, we all can see the news and certainly we hear rumors. So we won't go there. Nevertheless when we sin, God is faithful to forgive us. He can restore us to Himself. There is no sin that is beyond His reach except blasphemy. I am not an advocate of sin but we have got to stop condemning and begin healing, praying and lifting a brother or sister up in prayer. If the rumors are true and a man or woman of God has sinned or (as my grandmother would say "got above they raisings) then we are to reach out to that one in love. Yes show them where they have erred (they know already) and help to lead them back to Christ.

I offer my brothers and sisters understanding and I am not here to judge. I pray that the blood of Jesus Christ will wash, renew and give redemption where its applied. I pray that He raises your voices again for the world to hear. I pray your faith and love for Jesus is always intact and in operation. Jesus loves you, me and all of us. Thank you Jesus for grace, mercy and love.
