President Barack Obama I am so proud of you. This is clearly your destiny. You have triumphed over the same kinds of things we face daily, including racism, old dead policies and politics. Struggle to live out a vision to help your fellow man even as some would tell you not to. You have a wonderful heart and I am so proud. I am Cynthia and I approve this message. To America OMG America, through our vote, we demonstrate a determination to move forward beyond the old ideologies and fears to stand as a people of all colors and creeds, for common good for all people. New pursuits, new freedoms, new dreams, new hopes!! Thank you America for a strong stand.

Another one bites the dust...and I mean that with love and adoration...true love and adoration. She will always be dynamic to me. She was close to my age and I have always admired her and had tons of empathy for her. She got lost in drugs...true enough...but let thee without sin cast the first stone. She just got lost along the way and lost in the public eye. Its a shame and in that regard I feel sorry.
RIP Whitney...your voice will surely live on.

This entry is not to glorify this man in any way shape, form, or fashion. It is a thought and perhaps a message. While the nation celebrates I can't help but to wonder what reprecussions his death will have. The USA does have other enemies outside of Bin Laden and what are those other enemies thinking? Take China for example. Will this be a sign to them that the USA is such a world power that they may face its wrath if they disagree with the USA? If the US oppose another nation, does that mean we will attack and kill? I personally don't celebrate death. I think that is for God to choose life and death. I am not sad for him but I am not overjoyed either. With so many signs and signs and signs of the "end times" so prevalent these days, I think we should put the party hats away and focus on what it all means in the grand scheme of things.

"My Mother was an extraordinary woman who lived life to the fullest, with great passion, humor, and love. Though her loss is devastating to those of us who held her so close and so dear, we will always be inspired by her enduring contribution to our world. Her remarkable body of work in film, her ongoing success as a businesswoman, and her brave and relentless advocacy in the fight against HIV/AIDS, all make us all incredibly proud of what she accomplished. We know, quite simply, that the world is a better place for Mom having lived in it. Her legacy will never fade, her spirit will always be with us, and her love will live forever in our hearts."

You will notice I didn't make the first New Year's resolution and there is a reason why. No one seems to be able to keep them past a week especially me so why make 'em. I am just so thankful to see another year and excited to find out what happens in it. I am sitting here nursing an ulcer (at least that is my suspect) and it don't feel good at all, in fact it hurts like hell!!! The last bout with this lasted for months, I lost 20lbs. and was finally throwing up everyday all day! I could use the weight loss but the rest can go. My son told me the other day to lay my hands on my stomach and repeat "by His stripes I am healed" and I did and I like that. Yes, by His stripes I am indeed healed. Still today I ache. So I am taking it easy. For those of you who happen upon my blog (not by error) pray for a speedy recovery and I mean PRAY! I do appreciate it alot. I am back to work tomorrow and the forecast is sleet, snow and Ice. Wow! I really do need the days and this is my long week ( 6 straight days) but if the weather is too bad then well...too bad! I got a blog thought too pertaining to my job but that is for another day. I love you all and remember to give God the Glory!

We Have All Fallen Short...lets read scripture!
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
For all have sinned, and do need the glory of God.
Don't that say a mouth full..this is two interpretations of Romans 3:23. It is the first time I saw the second version but it speaks loud and clear to me.
I was reading about a few "tv" preachers who have recently fallen from grace (at least fallen in man's eye) and the naysayers have had a field day speaking on it. I found very little from the christian community, perhaps we are afraid of what we are thinking and feeling. So I thought I would blog it on my own blog spot and give a voice to a layman's point of view.
The Word of God is true and is infallible. That is the bottom line weather you believe or not. Non-belief has not changed the Word of God yet and it will not. Neither does changing its interpretation. So we know it is true that we all have failed and fallen short of His glory. We know because we know our own secrets and failings and most of the time we are glad that no one else knows but God and yourself. Amen? Amen. So then when we see someone fail, why are we so quick to condemn and sent a soul off to hell when God Himself didn't do that to us?
I am not going to address any one rumor or event on any preacher nor person because it is not necessary, we all can see the news and certainly we hear rumors. So we won't go there. Nevertheless when we sin, God is faithful to forgive us. He can restore us to Himself. There is no sin that is beyond His reach except blasphemy. I am not an advocate of sin but we have got to stop condemning and begin healing, praying and lifting a brother or sister up in prayer. If the rumors are true and a man or woman of God has sinned or (as my grandmother would say "got above they raisings) then we are to reach out to that one in love. Yes show them where they have erred (they know already) and help to lead them back to Christ.
I offer my brothers and sisters understanding and I am not here to judge. I pray that the blood of Jesus Christ will wash, renew and give redemption where its applied. I pray that He raises your voices again for the world to hear. I pray your faith and love for Jesus is always intact and in operation. Jesus loves you, me and all of us. Thank you Jesus for grace, mercy and love.

It is Easter rather than Christmas that captures the true essence of Jesus, His life, His purpose and the reality of His birth, death and resurrection. While we do not know the exact date of His birth, it is during Christmas that we celebrate His birth. His birth represents new beginnings to me, a new hope and promise and the dawning of a new day. Sometimes it seems all these things are delayed or worst...impossible, but His very birth demonstrates a Almighty God who always keeps His Word, who is mindful of you and I and always, always defies the odds.
From Jesus we witness what it means to suffer, to have faith and hope during persecution and to rise again. We learn that our beginning on earth may not have come about in ideal conditions but the plan God has for us far exceeds our beginnings. We learn to pray, to stand, to weep, and yes, even to get angry. We recognize it is ok to turn away from the crowd and look to the Father. We learn to understand parables and to meditate on them day and night.
We learn to love Him, not for what He can give us but for what He has already given us. We celebrate Him. Today, everyday I celebrate Him for all these things and more. I encourage every believer to reflect on these things and let it have meaning for you in a personal way through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Lyrics to A Move Of God Is On The Way :
I feel a breakthrough coming your way,
it's a mighty move of God,
it's gonna change your day.
With signs and wonders, miracles to perform,
God is gonna bless you for just holding on.
Just hold on, a change is coming,
feel it in the air,
it's in the atmosphere.
Just hold on, a change is coming,
a move of God is on the way.
You've been expecting a change in your life,
looking for your midnight to turn to sunshine.
It's gonna happen, you wait and see,
all things are possible to them that believe.
Just hold on, a change is coming,
feel it in the air,
it's in the atmosphere.
Just hold on, a change is coming...
A move of God is on the way.
THATS RIGHT, I FEEL A MIGHTY MOVE OF GOD COMING OUR WAY. THE DEVIL HAS BEEN SO BUSY AND HE HAS REASONS TO BE BUSY, BECAUSE HE HAS SEEN THE FUTURE OF THE SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH GOD AND HE IS AFRAID AND SCARED AND HE WOULD LOVE NOTHING MORE THAN TO MAKE US SCARED AND AFRAID ALSO. BUT THE DEVIL IS A LIAR...AMEN? AMEN. GOD IS NOT A MAN THAT HE SHOULD LIE OR THE SON OF MAN THAT HE HAS TO REPENT. IF HE SAID IT HE MEANT AND HE IS GOING TO DO IT AND NOTHING, NOTHING, (NOT EVEN YOU) IS GOING TO CHANGE HIS MIND. BELIEVE ME, GOD KNOWS YOU AND HE IS AWARE OF ALL YOUR FAULTS AND ERRORS, HE ALREADY CONSIDERED ALL THE "MESS" WHEN HE SPOKE. HE SPOKE DESPITE OUR "MESS" AND SO EVEN WE CAN DERAIL HIS PLANS. THE ONLY THING THE DEVIL CAN DO IS CREATE DOUBT AND FRUSTRATIONS SO THAT YOU WILL DOUBT AND DISBELIEVE GOD AND THUS HINDER OR DELAY YOUR BREAKTHROUGH...WELL EVEN IF YOU DO...GOD IS LONG SUFFERING, NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH BUT ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE!! AMEN? AMEN. THAT IS REASON TO REJOICE TODAY AND GIVE GOD SOME GLORY!!
I'VE BEEN GUILTY LATELY OF PITY PARTIES. QUESTIONING GOD, FEELING FRUSTRATED AND ANGRY. I HAVE DEFINITELY MISSED THE MARK!! BUT MY HEART IS FULL OF JOY BECAUSE GOD KNOWS ME AND HE KNEW OF THOSE MOMENTS OF DOUBT, THAT WHY HE SHOWED ME THOMAS. THOMAS WAS IN DOUBT. HE WANTED TO SEE FOR HIMSELF AND FEEL THE WOUNDS OF CHRIST IN ORDER TO BELIEVE. MANY PASTORS ARE HARD ON THOMAS AND USE HIM AS AN EXAMPLE OF HOW NOT TO BE, BUT I SEE THOMAS IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT. THOMAS NO DOUBT WAS IN PAIN, HIS LORD AND SAVIOR SLAINED, HIS GOOD FRIENDS REJOICING AND HAPPY AT CHRIST APPEARING, BUT HE WAS ABSENT AND NOT THERE...WHATS WRONG WITH ME? YOU KNOW YOU HAVE ASKED THAT QUESTION DEEP DOWN INSIDE BEFORE! SO OF COURSE HE FELT DOUBTFUL. BUT THE BEAUTY OF THIS STORY IS THAT JESUS CAME BACK SO THOMAS COULD INDEED SEE HIM AND TOUCH HIM. HALLELUJAH!!! SAY WHAT YOU PLEASE ABOUT THOMAS, JESUS LOVED HIM AND IF THAT WAS WHAT THOMAS NEEDED THEN JESUS CAME TO HIM (NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH). AMEN? AMEN.
SO I AM STRENGTHENED AND ENCOURAGED THIS MORNING THAT GOD WILL NOT LEAVE ME OR FORSAKE ME BUT WILL COME SEE ABOUT ME EVEN WHEN I DOUBT. AND YES (NAYSAYERS) WE ARE TO MATURE TO A POINT WHERE WE DON'T DOUBT BUT BELIEVE AND HAVE FAITH AND HOPE EVEN WHEN WE CAN'T SEE. I GIVE GOD PRAISE, I GIVE GLORY TO MY LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST TODAY FOR ALL HIS WONDER. I HOPE THIS WORD ENCOURAGES YOU TOO. NO DOUBT IF GOD HAS LEAD YOU TO READ THIS THEN HE HAS A BLESSING WITH YOUR NAME ON IT COMING YOUR WAY. I RECEIVE IT AND BELIEVE IT TO BE SO.
